Tele- Consultation Disclaimer Policy
1. Nature of Teleconsultation
Einstagore facilitates telemedicine/video consultations for patients who are unable to physically visit a hospital or medical facility. These services are intended to bridge access where immediate in-person medical care is not feasible.
2. Limitation of Teleconsultation
A telemedicine or video consultation cannot substitute an in-person consultation. The absence of physical examination limits the scope and accuracy of diagnosis and treatment. It is not intended for emergency or critical care.
3. Recommendation for In-Hospital Consultation
Patients are strongly advised to seek an in-person consultation at the earliest opportunity. Teleconsultation should only be availed if immediate medical attention is required and physical consultation is temporarily not possible.
4. Need for Follow-Up and Confirmation
Patients must seek a physical consultation to confirm any diagnosis, treatment plan, or prescription received during a teleconsultation. If symptoms persist, worsen, or do not improve, the patient must visit the nearest hospital without delay.
5. Consent and Liability Waiver
By accepting a teleconsultation, the patient expressly agrees and acknowledges the following:
• Teleconsultation services are limited in scope and may be affected by technical or communication issues.
• There is a risk of incomplete or inaccurate diagnosis or management due to the absence of physical examination and external factors such as internet connectivity or video/audio quality.
• Neither Einstagore, its partner hospitals, doctors, nor any affiliated personnel shall be held liable for any loss, injury, or error arising from such limitations.
6. Implied Consent
By initiating a teleconsultation with a doctor via Einstagore’s platform, the patient consents to the use of telemedicine and accepts the inherent limitations and responsibilities.
